O community of Muslims, I see you have differed in the prayer for your dead ones..

This question came in from one of the brothers in one of the statements of the Imam in the Imam’s record through word press:

In the name of Allah the All Merciful, the Most Merciful, prayer of forgiveness and peace be upon the seal of the prophets and messengers and his righteous virtuous family, and the followers to the Truth till the day of Judgement: Allah the Most High said:

{He it is Who sends prayers of forgiveness on you, and (so do) His angels, that He may bring you forth out of darkness into light. And He is ever Merciful to the believers.} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Ahzãb] 33:43

O community of the best foremost supporters.. O community of Muslims, Allah the Most High said: {Surely Allah and His angels bless the prophet. O you who believe, call for blessings on him and salute him with a (becoming) salutation.} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Ahzãb] 33:56. O our Allah forgive, salute, and bless my grandfather the seal of the prophets and messengers Mohammad messenger of Allah and his family, and the followers to the Truth till the day of Judgement..

O community of Muslims, I see you have differed in the prayer over your dead ones because you do not know what is the prayer of the servants over the servants, and it is only the call and the pleading to Lord of the servants to forgive the Muslims equally whether the living or the dead ones. As for Allah’s prayer for His servants is the responding to the supplication-call. And Allah the Most High said:

{He it is Who sends blessings on you, and (so do) His angels, that He may bring you forth out of darkness into light. And He is ever Merciful to the believers.} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Ahzãb] 33:43

Look at the prayers of the angels for you in His word the Most High:

{H.M.(1) A`.S.Q.(2) Thus does Allah, the Mighty, the Wise, reveal to you, and (He revealed) to those before you.(3) To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth; and He is the High, the Great.(4) The heavens may almost be rent asunder above them, while the angels glorify with the praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Now surely Allah is the Forgiving, the Merciful.(5) And those who take protectors besides Him — Allah watches over them; and you have not charge over them.(6)} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Shourã] 42:1-6

Thus look at the prayer of the angels for you by the supplication-call, and Allah’s prayer over you is answering the call. And Allah the Most High said:

{Those who bear the Throne of Power and those around it celebrate the praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask protection for those who believe: Our Lord, You embraced all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who turn (to You) and follow Your way, and save them from the chastisement of hell.(7) Our Lord, make them enter the Gardens of perpetuity, which You have promised them and such of their fathers and their wives and their offspring as are good. Surely You are the Mighty, the Wise;(8) And guard them from evil, and whom You guard from evil this day, You have indeed mercy on him. And that is the mighty achievement.(9)} Truthful Allah the Great [Ghãfer] 40:7-9

It is then, the prayer over your dead one is: that you rise for Allah being humble with the supplication-call for them by asking forgiveness, so they invoke forgiveness for them as the angels ask forgiveness for you, then they say: O our Allah, forgive him and have mercy for him and all the dead one of the Muslims, and for us with them by Your mercy O the Most Merciful of all the merciful ones

Then the Imam supplicates (calling Him) what Allah pleases, and do not fold to yourself your wings as in your prayers nor stretch them down, in fact raise hands to Whom you plead to Him with the supplication-call to forgive your dead one and all of your dead ones, and you too along with them, as we give you fatwa that the Takbeers are seven and the asking for forgiveness are seventy times; (which is) ten times after each takbeer where you ask forgiveness for your dead one after every takbeer, and the number of takbeers are seven so the total of asking forgiveness becomes seventy times

Confirming with the word of Allah the Most High:

{Ask forgiveness for them or ask not forgiveness for them. Even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will not forgive them. This is because they disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger. And Allah guides not the transgressing people.} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Tawba] 9:80

We get to know through this that we ask forgiveness for our dead ones seventy times and definitely Allah will forgive them if they were not hypocrites, that’s because the hypocrites whom Allah prohibited His messenger to pray over them with the supplication-call. And Allah the Most High said:

{And never offer prayer for anyone of them who dies, nor stand by his grave. Surely they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and they died in transgression.} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Tawba] 9:84

That’s because Allah would never forgive the hypocrites whom they show belief and conceal the disbelief unless they turn Allah repenting fully before their death. Confirming with the word of Allah the Most High:

{And never offer prayer for anyone of them who dies, nor stand by his grave. Surely they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger and they died in transgression.} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Tawba] 9:84

And Allah would never forgive them even if Mohammad messenger of Allah -prayer of Allah’s forgiveness and peace be upon him and his family- asked forgiveness for them in their lifetime or after their death by seventy times verily Allah would never forgive them. And Allah the Most High said:

{Ask forgiveness for them or ask not forgiveness for them. Even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will not forgive them. This is because they disbelieve in Allah and His messenger. And Allah guides not the transgressing people.} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Tawba] 9:80. We come to know through this that the takbeers are seven and the asking forgiveness are seventy times, after each takbeer you ask forgiveness for him ten (times).

O community of Muslims, only the seventy is guaranteed that Allah makes your heart to humble and eyes to tear so Allah get pleased with you and your dead one then He forgives you and answers your supplication call then He forgives you dead one and that is a mighty success. The Imam make the takbeer openly, then he recites [Al-Fatiha] the Opening then follows it the call while the praying ones say: “O our Allah, ameen.. O our Allah, ameen”.

So great the prayer’s reward of the humbled praying ones over the funeral who if the stranger looked at them he would have thought that the dead is their brother the son of their mother and father, and for that he sees them cry and only the tears shed from the humbleness to Allah Lord of the worlds from the pleading between His hands to forgive their brother and them, so Allah removes him from the fire so they rescue him, verily my Lord is Hearer of the call, Forgiving, Merciful.

Because the believers now in the wolrd’s life can plead between Allah’s hands so they would ask forgiveness for their dead ones then they contend with Allah by His mercy which He ordained upon HimSelf (to forgive them) but they can not contend with Allah on their behalf on the day of resurrection. Confirming with the word of Allah the Most High:

{Behold! You are they who may contend on their behalf in this world’s life, but who will contend with Allah on their behalf on the Resurrection day, or who will have charge of their affairs?(109) And whoever does evil or wrongs his soul, then asks forgiveness of Allah, will find Allah Forgiving, Merciful.(110)} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Nesã`a] 4:109-110

What would benefit the deceased after his death, and the ruling of hanging the pictures of the dead

In the name of Allah, the All Merciful, the Most Merciful. Peace and forgiveness be upon my grandfather Mohammad messenger of Allah and his family the pure ones, and upon all the helpers in the way of Allah, the One the Conqueror.

Indeed, it is beneficial to ask forgiveness for the deceased, so do the spending on behalf his soul. But reading the Opening (Al-fatihah) over the souls of the dead is an innovation that Allah did not decree nor authorized. Because the Opening (Al-fatihah) is a supplication for the narrator, and so is reading the Quran its reword is for the narrator for pondering its verses, and Allah did not descend it to read it over our dead ones.

And so it is permissible for you hanging the pictures of your deceased on the walls of the house, to be a memory to remind you of him, so every one who see it, definitely would say: May Allah be Merciful on him. But those who forbade hanging the picture of the dead for memory without given authority, they denied many believers from this mercy to request mercy for him who ever seen his photo. It is only forbidden hanging the jestingly pictures, what is the matter with you? How do you judge o folks who forbid the hanging of the deceased picture in their home, how ignorant you are? Don’t you know that because of the deceased picture his grandchildren they get to know him, and all his offspring generation after generation would ask forgiveness for him and in every nation, even it was hundreds of years between them, they will get to know him and ask forgiveness for him. Allah is sufficient for me and He is an excellent Guardian from some scholars do not think so they do not differentiate between indecent jestingly pictures and respectable photos. Indeed it is forbidden the hanging of jestingly pictures in the home of the believer, because the indecent pictures do not please Allah.
And peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to Allah Lord of the worlds.

An explanation from the Imam for the inquirer; should be a prayer and funeral for the deceased from an accident

Amina isa8

The deceased from an accident
O Imam, should be there a prayer over the deceased from an accident or not to be buried

In the name of Allah, the All Merciful, the Most Merciful.
How it is, not to pray over the deceased from an accident! And what the deference between the one who died from an accident, from the one just died naturally, or being killed? Indeed there should be a prayer over him and be buried in the Muslim’s grave yards

And peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to Allah Lord of the worlds.

The Imam Mahdi issues fatwa with the Truth about the place of having the prayers (asking Allah’s forgiveness) for the dead..

the original post was written by alawab
My precious beloved Imam, we have learned from you that the prayer for the dead is the call (asking Allah’s forgiveness) for him, and it is seven Takbirs (Allahu Akbar) in each Takbir ten requests for forgiveness then it becomes seventy requests of forgiveness guaranteeing to soften the heart and the eye to tear verily Allah the All Merciful would respond then He forgives him
And the question is: where do we pray for the dead? Is it in the mosques as they do today? Or at the crematory

In the name of Allah the All Merciful, the Most Merciful, forgiveness and peace be upon the seal of the prophets messengers and the family of the house the pure righteous, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to Allah Lord of the worlds..

Peace and mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you my beloved questioners and all the Muslims, and we issue a fatwa to you in the Truth that it is not required to pray (asking Allah’s forgiveness) for your dead in the mosques and we do not prevent the prayer (asking Allah’s forgiveness) for them in the mosques and it is permissible for you to pray (asking Allah’s forgiveness) for the dead when you place him in his grave and before the burial so you stand by their graves and pray upon them with the supplications while you are upright without bowing nor prostrating, and the clear proof for the prayer upon the dead after placing him in the grave you find it in the saying of Allah the Most High:

{Ask forgiveness for them or ask not forgiveness for them. Even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah will not forgive them. This is because they disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger. And Allah guides not the transgressing people.(80) Those who were left behind were glad on account of their sitting behind Allah’s Messenger, and they were averse to striving in Allah’s way with their property and their persons, and said: Go not forth in the heat. Say: The Fire of hell is fiercer in heat. If only they could understand!(81) Then let them laugh a little and weep much — a recompense for what they earned.(82) So if Allah bring you back to a party of them, then they ask your permission to go forth, say: Never shall you go forth with me and never shall you fight an enemy with me. You chose to sit (at home) the first time; so sit (now) with those who remain behind.(83) And never offer prayer for anyone of them who dies, nor stand by his grave. Surely they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and they died in transgression.(84)} Truthful Allah the Great [Al-Tawba] 9:80-84

And we devise from that the permission to pray (asking Allah’s forgiveness) for the dead from after being placed in the grave, it is then you bury him after finishing the funeral prayer, and not to pray (asking Allah’s forgiveness) for the hypocrites whom they show belief and conceal the disbelief, and among them the magicians whom they make magic spell of separating so do not pray (asking Allah’s forgiveness) for them ever and not to stand by their graves. How do you stand by the grave of who trample on the grand Quran in the bathroom! When it is a precondition of satans upon those whom they teach them the magic spell of separation and the evil-magic in general form, those are the worst enemies even if you saw them being committed with the prayers in the houses of Allah and you know that the committed surely makes the magic-spell of separating or as they say units and separates means he units between two and separate between two, so those are the ones of separating magic-spell makers from the most dangerous enemies of the religion and the Muslims, and they are included among the hypocrites so do not ever pray upon any one of them who died, and never stand in prayer upon them at the graves because they died while they were among the hypocrites and the disbelievers, and we seek refuge with Allah from their magic and all their cunning, and that Allah make their evil planing in their own necks He is our Lord and our Guardian; the Excellent Guardian the Excellent Supporter.

And peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to Allah Lord of the worlds

Fatwa of the prayer for the dead while the shoes on the feet

In the name of Allah the All Merciful, the Most Merciful, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to Allah Lord of the worlds, after this..

I ask Allah to maximize your reward and to inspire you with patience and consolation, and to make your dead ones and the Muslims’ dead to enter into his mercy among His righteous servants, in regard to the fatwa of the prayer for the dead while your shoes on your feet verily this is permissible except when the prayer on the dead is in the mosques then here it is not permissible to contaminate the carpet of the mosque (masjid) by stepping on it with the shoes, to the fact it is a place of prostration to Lord of the worlds, we belong to Allah and indeed we return to Him..
